Self-love

self photo90x90You are welcome here, and I hope you will feel nurtured here. I am so happy that you found me! I started this website with the intention of helping others through sharing my experiences of healing from depression. After suffering for many years, and trying many traditional methods of healing, I learned that in order to heal, I must love and accept myself. I write about my journey through depression using tools that have helped me learn self-love.

SELF-LOVE WORKSHEETS

Rita Loyd has generously allowed me to offer her wonderful worksheets on Unconditional Self-Love. This is a powerful exercise that will help you apply unconditional self-love to the difficult areas of your life.  After all, it is when we are most challenged  in our life that we sometimes forget to love ourselves.  Nurturing ourselves must be a priority if we want to heal ourselves from the damage that self-hate can cause. Self-love will help you learn to trust yourself enough so that you can discover who you really are.

Find the worksheets here . If you click above on Rita Lloyd, that takes you to her beautiful Nurturing Art.

INTENTION WORKSHEETS:

INTENTION/PROJECT PRIORITIZATION GRID ( NO MORE NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTIONS!)

I am not one to list my New Year’s Resolutions. It feels negative to me, and daunting as well!  Last year I was part of a women’s spirituality and personal growth group. We went through a process using the form below to set our  intentions for the New Year. This process felt really good to me because I felt like it helped me get in touch with what is important to me.  This exercise made my intentions feel attainable. Resolutions always felt unattainable to me.

If you are ready to try a new process; one that feels good and doesn’t have the feelings of shame and guilt attached to it, try this exercise. It leaves the guilt and shame out of the process, and you won’t be feeling as though you are trying to “fix” yourself in the New Year. It will feel more like you are following your heart to get to your truth.
