Things you can do to nurture yourself

I was just making a mental note in my head of things to do that feel nurturing. Of course, everyone can add things to the list.

Go for a walk.

Go see a movie, or rent one.

Meditate.

Take a bath.

Connect with someone.

Light a candle and drink some tea.

Dance your butt off!

Read an inspiring book or quote.

Journal

Hug someone.

Pet an animal.

Ask yourself “what do I need right now?”

Cook something fun and yummy.

Listen to some soothing music.

Take a nap.

Paint a picture or use fingerpaints like you did as a kid.

Just sit with yourself and BE with no expectations whatsoever. Be gentle with yourself

Rock yourself in a rocking chair or a hammock while listening to soothing music

The most important thing is to ALLOW yourself to be nurtured. You deserve it, and there is never a need to feel guilty.
